CULTURE/SOCIETY: A New Year's Wish

My co-worker, who I call , gives out her New Year's wish every year. And it's so good that I'm regifting it. :) - OlderMusicGeek

A New Year's Wish

A few friends who understand
and yet remain friends,

A work to do which has real value,
without which the world
would feel the poorer...

To always remember we make a living by what we get;
We make a life by what we give.

A mind unafraid to travel,
even though the trail be not blazed.

An understanding heart...

A sense of humor...

Time for quiet, silent meditation and Grace.

To live that at least a few will thank God that I was here
when my little day is done.

And the patience to wait for the coming of these things,
with the wisdom to know them when they come.

This is my Wish for you!
